The ALIVE Open Science Day was kicked-off with lively discussions over coffee and pastries. Once everyone had found a seat in the room LEE E 101 on the ETH Campus Zentrum, the ALIVE co-chairs, Eleni Chatzi and Mark Tibbitt, made the introduction. It was followed by research pitches by the ALIVE fellows, where each and everyone presented their project, its goal and methodology. The ALIVE community could continue exchanging and networking over lunch, and also found topics to discuss with the entire community during the wrap-up of the meeting.

The community appreciated having the opportunity to meet and learn about the status of the three project streams CLiMa, BHR and ZJ, so it was decided to organize the ALIVE Open Science on regular basis.
