MaP MERCK Lecture: Prof. Malda delivered an inspiring speech at ETH Zurich

The Competence Center for Materials and Processes (MaP) in collaboration with MERCK as sponsor invited Prof. Jos Malda from the University Medical Center Utrecht and University Utrecht to give a lecture at ETH Zurich. About 40 people attended.

Lecture host Prof. Marcy Zenobi-Wong from D-HEST welcomed the audience and warmly thanked MERCK, represented by Dr. Adelina Braun and Harry Wischnewski, for their generosity. After extending her gratitude to the Competence Center for Materials and Processes (MaP) for organising the event, Prof. Zenobi-Wong went on to introduce Prof. Jos Malda.

After a 45-minute presentation on "Biofabrication Technologies for Osteochondral Regeneration", the audience's interest was piqued, and many questions followed. After 40 more minutes of engaging discussion, Prof. Zenobi-Wong had to conclude the event. Lunch was awaiting Prof. Jos Malda and his hosts at restaurant Culmann.

In the afternoon, the group visited the labs of professors Ralph Müller, Xiao-Hua Qin, Simone Schürle and Stephen Ferguson. Prof. Marcy Zenobi-Wong had already given a tour of her lab in the morning.
